Hiking In Swaziland

Today I finally got to fully experience the mountains of Swaziland. Swaziland has many mountains and directly behind where I am staying is a trail with an amazing view! This morning myself, the other volunteers, and the hostel dog all set off up the trial. It was a one hour hike up, and about 30 minutes down. The hike was a short, but difficult one with many spots where you actually had to climb. It was beautiful the entire time however so there was never a dull moment throughout the entire hike. On the way up and back we passed a small waterfall as well as many large exposed boulders. (Swaziland is home to the second largest exposed rock after Uluru rock in Australia!) The view from the top was amazing with 360 views of the cities below as well as the mountains and forests. It was an amazing time and I will definitely be doing the hike again before I leave.
